It provides a model on how to handle potential situations that could develop into becoming a conflict. The “Occupational Violence and Aggression (OVA) course covers this unit on defensive tactics – “Control and Immobilisation Intervention Program” (CIIP) unit and the separate conflict awareness (CAM) program covering verbal conflict.
